This Privacy Policy explains how MyMindCare handles information when you use the iPhone app. MyMindCare is designed as a privacy-first mental wellness support app. It does not provide clinical diagnosis, medical treatment, medication advice or emergency care.
Information You May Provide
- Profile information such as your first name, selected language, goals and notification preferences.
- Mood check-ins, emotions, stress, anxiety, energy, sleep quality, triggers, notes and tags.
- Journal entries and therapy-preparation summaries you create in the app.
- Self-care habit logs, breathing sessions, sleep entries and SOS or panic-event records.
- AI prompts and recent wellness context sent to the backend when you use AI Companion features.
- Subscription status and purchase entitlement information provided by Apple StoreKit.
How Information Is Used
- To show your mood, habit, sleep and journal history inside the app.
- To generate supportive, non-clinical AI replies and personal insights when you choose to use AI features.
- To create therapy-ready summaries based on your own records.
- To manage Premium access, monthly AI usage limits and subscription-related app behavior.
- To provide safety-aware crisis routing, including reminders that emergency support is never paywalled.
AI Processing
AI Companion requests are sent through Firebase Cloud Functions. The OpenAI API key is stored on the backend and is not shipped inside the iPhone app. When you ask for AI support, MyMindCare may send your message and limited recent context such as mood, sleep, habits, triggers and a short journal summary to the backend so a supportive reply can be generated.
AI replies are supportive and informational only. They do not diagnose, treat, prescribe medication or replace professional care. If self-harm or crisis signals appear, normal coaching should stop and the app should direct you toward emergency or trusted-person support.
Third-Party Services
- Apple StoreKit, for subscription purchases and entitlement status.
- Firebase and Google Cloud, for backend AI proxy functions, anonymous authentication, AI usage quota records and anonymous product analytics.
- TikTok, for measuring the results of MyMindCare's own advertising, as described below.
- OpenAI, for generating AI Companion responses when you use AI features.
MyMindCare does not sell your personal information and does not use it to target you with other companies’ advertising.
Advertising and Measurement
MyMindCare advertises itself on TikTok. So we can tell which ads actually help people find the app, the TikTok Business SDK reports a small set of events: that the app was installed, that it was opened, that onboarding was finished, and that a subscription was bought, together with the amount and currency of that purchase.
Your journal entries, mood notes, check-in details, sleep records and AI conversations are never part of this. They are not sent to TikTok or to any other advertising partner.
If you allow tracking when iOS asks, the report also includes your device’s advertising identifier, which is what lets a purchase be matched to the ad you saw. If you decline, no advertising identifier is used and measurement falls back to Apple’s SKAdNetwork, which reports results in aggregate without identifying you. Either answer can be changed at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
MyMindCare shows no ads inside the app.
Local Storage, Export and Deletion
MyMindCare stores wellness records locally in the app by default. You can use privacy lock where available, export your data and delete your records from the app's privacy controls. If you delete your data, local MyMindCare records are removed from the app.
Children and Sensitive Information
Mental wellness data can be sensitive. MyMindCare should be used only where permitted by local law and App Store age requirements. If you are a minor, use the app with guidance from a parent, guardian or appropriate professional support.

MyMindCare is not an emergency service. If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you are in immediate danger, call local emergency services or a local crisis hotline immediately.
